Important Changes from 3rd February 2025 at The Belgravia!

PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE –   IMPORTANT MESSAGE.!!!!!!!

CHANGES FROM 3rd February 2025.

From 3rd February 2025, Belgravia Surgery will cease to accept prescriptions requests via email or website. Local Chemists will only be permitted to request prescription on behalf of elderly patients, frail and patients with disability. Where members of a family have an elderly frail member, a Proxy Access can be requested through the Patients Online Access registration process. However, this will require the elderly, frail, patient with disability giving consent.

Patients Online Access

Well before COVID-19 pandemic, the NHS was working with practices to find innovative ways to deliver services. One of such innovation was Patients’ Online Access which enables users to access the practice SystmOne Clinical system24/7 in the comfort of their homes.  This service enables patients to:

  • to check test results;
  • view medical records; and
  • request for repeat medication.

Patients who have downloaded the NHS App can also connect to their Medical Records after Registering for Patient Online Access.

The NHS App gives patients access to many information which relates to the services that the NHS provides. For more information please click on this LINK.

You can complete the Patients’ Online Access Form online here.  Hard copies are available at the practice to complete. As you are being given access to your confidential data, proof of a Photo ID e.g., a Full Drivers’ Licence, Passport or Biometric Residence Card is required. You will then be issued with a PIN number and a link to register for the Patients’ Online Access.

PATCHS

Belgravia Surgery also, has an Online Consultation Portal which is accessible via our Website. For more information, please click on here for PATCHS which is located on the home page of our website. PATCHS gives patients access to request for appointment, raise clinical and administrative queries.

These changes have come about as Belgravia Surgery is proactively working to manage our daily workload more efficiently to meet patients’ demand and in line with the current NHS directives.

Patients currently request for prescriptions via – Email, our website, local chemists, by hand or posting.

On receipt of your request, staff has to print off and manually process all your requests which does take time.

Following on from the review of 4 areas of our services, from 3rd February 2025 all request for the remaining 3 areas mentioned below are to be made via PATCHS:-

  • Patient Medical Reports
  • Appointment and,
  • Email requests with miscellaneous Clinical matters

Please be advised that when a patient has difficulty in using PATCHs, our Online Consultation Portal to submit a request, you are still able to CALL on 0207 590 8000.
